The following images contained within this gallery are of scans taken of many of my old 80's grade school artwork. They generally cover years 1984-1990. There might be a few from ‘91 & '92, but the majority are from mid-1985 up until about 1988. They’re creased, they're splotched, and some have faded, but I’m firm in my conviction that these offer a very rare and unique opportunity into this very early phase of my life when I was 9 to 14 years old --wayyyyyyy before I ever churned out the artwork that I am known so much more for today.

Some notes; many of these are of Transformers and even though some are wearing clothes *lol*, I’m very fortunate to have these. A lot of very fond memories of G1. There are many retro/original 80's drawings of Blizzard in here, Metatisic, and even notes that I had left to myself during the original creation of those characters and the construction of their stories.

NOTICE: Several of these pieces have suffered storage damage. Still, I've decided that I would NOT do anything to enhance, fix, or repair any one of the following featured examples in this collection so that you may see them in all their true, aging wonder. Only the 'watermark' is new and has been added only for the purpose of theft derailment.

Welp, here it is. You are looking at the very first ever! drawing of the mech who would be 'Metatisic'. This potted and unfinished coloring is the actual spring board that launched an epic that is still entertaining TF fans nearly 23 years later., 1985

Click for larger version Starscream
A pencil and marker drawing of Starscream. Have you noticed that I stuck a little tree in there on the left in an effort to depict height?., early-1985

Galvatron and his dear innocent and angelic sons, the twins Starscream and Screamstar ., 1986

Click for larger version Blizzard and Cyclonus
I'm pretty sure that this was done as a cover to an old fan fiction that I no longer even remember anymore. Here Blizzard stands in front of Cyclonus., 1987

Leader of the 'Party Crashers', Blocker. The 'Crashers' were the enemy unit of the 'Party Animals', an original comic strip I created and officially copyrighted finally in 1991. (Yes you can look it up at the Library of Congress. It's on records there if you like)., 1986

I .. um .. Well I 'believe' it's supposed to be Megatron having fallen out a window and landing in a garbage can. ...maybe he pissed Bliz off?., 1985

A funky, egyptian'ish drawing of Rail-Karna. He became better known as 'God Megadyne' in 2004., 1987

Click for larger version Cover of a book
Yes folks, I actually wrote 'history' to my history. This was the book cover for a documentary-like story I did regarding Ancient Decepticon society., 1986-1987(?)

Click for larger version Sitting Megatron
This is one picture that I actually did a recent REMAKE of. The crowned Megatron topper of Metatisic’s batton is largely symbolic. It’s gold exemplifies the body of Megadyne while the youthful vornling (child) and ancient vector hawk wings suggest the newly created spark; reincarnation., 1986(?)

Click for larger version Sarterius
One of the original 80's drawings of the General Sarterius, Metatisic's chief-general in the 'Metatisic' TF fiction saga., probably 1987

I can't figure out this fetish I had for giving my TFs clothes Hey, I was eleven --Everything makes perfect sense to an 11-year old. But here's Mets anyways featuring some original stat info on his father, Rom II., 1986

Click for larger version Galvatron
Galvatron wearing a weird looking example of the Decepticon crown of leadership. This could be (And I'm sure it is) because we had no such thing as direct to video in 1986, etc. and so I just couldn't quite remember how it had looked in the TF movie. I actually gave a full date on this one: 4-1-87., 1987

Now did I, or did I not always say that I always believed that 'Screamer was a prince? ..listen to me next time! ^^ :P., 1985

Click for larger version Megatron & Starscream
And I also said that I had always believed he was Megatron's kid for some reason too. I'm pretty sure this might be what paved the way for the making of 'Megatron' (Book 2)., 1985

A rather odd, odd depiction of Blizzard here. She looks more like Galvatron. She stands here w/ Starscream, Galvatron, and a weird dinosaur robot., 1986(?)

Aside from TFs, I also used to create and draw a lot of My little Pony characters. I'd often submit the ideas to Hasbro., 1988

Click for larger version Galvatron hiding
Me and my best friend, Martha used to play act a lot. I was always Cyclonus and she was always Galvatron. I believe this scene might be based on one of those games. I found her hiding in the laundry., 1987

I'm afraid I have no idea who this was supposed to be. But he has a cane and looks like he's older than Kup., 1987(?)

Click for larger version Mystical 'cons
Galvatron with a mystical ancient creature named 'Killjoy'. I'm unsure of Killjoy's story anymore because I haven't drawn or written about him in at least 18 years now, but the idea was that he was ancient guardian animal spirit. In times of calm he took on the appearance of an oridanary solid statue, but would 'spring to life' in signs of trouble., 1987(?)

Click for larger version The 'King's List'
One of the few items that I did not scan for any art merit, but primarily for their historical reference data to names, places, and/or events that I'm STILL using and appear within much of my current artwork and novels today. This list presents the names of rulers mentioned in the 'Metatisic' saga including the title of 'Ta'nak'., probably 1986(?)

Part 2 of the few items that I scan primarily for their historical reference to names, places, and/or events that I'm still using today. While I don't recognize some of these old TF fan fiction stories, the epic and summery of the 'Metatisic' saga is recorded here along with a note that I've apparently JUST started writing book 2 (Megatron)., 1988
