	All the cake... This particular piece of LT artwork observes what is now known as the infamous Stefán Karl hoax. In May of 2008, the website, ‘LazyTown Point’ fictitiously reported that Karl had decided not to renew his contract and so was leaving the company. 	Residents of the Lofty Places Midsummer magic! The character of Sportacus can find his roots deep in heart of traditional Nordic faerie folklore. Bygone centuries are teaming with stories of 'fast, fleetly moving wind sprites, or nimble elves' called 'wiskies' that sprint across roof tops, lived in the trees, and even rode the backs of birds. They are classified with liosalfar (light-elves) that are typically Scandinavian in appearance and characterized by light brown to blonde hair with pale complexions and blue eyes; 2007 [click image at left for larger version]

	Íþróttaálfur (Sportacus) The original Icelandic pre-Nick version of Sportacus --Íþróttaálfur (Sports Elf). Elves are a very dominate fixture in Iceland with much of the Icelandic population acknowledging the nation's 'shadow' community.
