[ Must full view for whole image! ] A moment of sorrow to ecstatic joy! Upon learning the truth about the hoax, fans by the score spent the next two weeks celebrating the character of Robbie Rotten; entirely reminded of what we could have lost. If nothing else, this piece paints a clear portrait of everyone's delight., 5/14/08

This particular piece of LT artwork observes what is now known as the infamous Stefán Karl hoax. In May of 2008, the website, ‘LazyTown Point’ fictitiously reported that Karl had decided not to renew his contract and so was leaving the company. The hoax was discovered, but not before the news had already torn through the fandom with complete devastating results that senselessly upset hundreds., 5/4/08

Midsummer magic! The character of Sportacus can find his roots deep in heart of traditional Nordic faerie folklore. Bygone centuries are teaming with stories of 'fast, fleetly moving wind sprites, or nimble elves' called 'wiskies' that sprint across roof tops, lived in the trees, and even rode the backs of birds. They are classified with liosalfar (light-elves) that are typically Scandinavian in appearance and characterized by light brown to blonde hair with pale complexions and blue eyes; 2007

"E for effort?"; At least give Robbie E for effort, eh? It is an apple after all --- Okay, so technically it’s a caramel covered one with some peanuts from the county fair, but – hey *shrug* (1 of 3) Just some oddball random sketches I did while profile studying for SC., 6/4/06

The original Icelandic pre-Nick version of Sportacus --Íþróttaálfur (Sports Elf). Elves are a very dominate fixture in Iceland with much of the Icelandic population acknowledging the nation's 'shadow' community.
