The following are tracks from the original, Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ (Robbie Rotten comes to Town!) CD that was originally released in 1999 by Ýmsir. For the truly dedicated and informed fan, I doubt very much that I will have to explain just how VERY ULTRA RARE and incredible elusive any of the pre-Nick Jr. series soundtracks are. As Lazy Town’s popularity increases outside of it’s native market, desire for these, and other original Latibær products and collectibles, continue to climb.
-- Sadly, your probably a lot better off buying up some swamp land in Jersey.
Both of these albums (Áfram Latibær and Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ) were available only in Iceland and both of them have also been long since sold out for ages prior to the TV series version debut. As a matter of fact, up until now the fan public’s only means for remotely being able to hear these original pieces was, 1. You could try to find a fan in Iceland who'd be willing to shoot you some. Or, 2. Courtesy of Krakkabanki Utvarp and even then, only a few choice tracks have ever been offered to date.
NOTICE: You are welcome to save these files to your PC, but I want something to be completely known and understood -- These are my CDs and I spent a considerable amount of time uploading them to my computer, converting them from WMA to MP3 so that you all would be able to play them, and then finally loading each one of them here to my website. I did this because I understand just how very impossible these are to locate otherwise. Please ..if you choose to use any of these files online, my only request is that you give credit where credit is due. This is all that I will ask from any of you and I think it is a more than fair enough petition for me to make.

Not to downsize the first Latibær CD because it does have it's enjoyable tunes, but the Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ CD that followed in 1999 is certainly the more popular and desirable of the two because it does feature music that is used (and continues to be used) in the TV series version. There's a lot more tracks that fans outside of Iceland are gonna recognize far more than those featured on the Áfram Latibær album.
