12/15 --The awaited 8th installment of Plots-n-Tombstones Windowknocker’s Dark Testament at KaneFanatics.com has been posted at:
KaneFanatics’ ‘Burnt Offerings’
Windowknocker ...Its title was meant to imply 'invitation', 'The things we invite' ...Whether or not we really want them. The popular WWE fiction series ran from 1993-2002 and focused on the life (and death) chronicles of the immortal phoenix, ‘Kandle’, (Kane the Undertaker) the everlasting spirit of the Undertaker.
The finale of the series, 'Dark Testament' began as a wrestling inspired RPG that invited WWE fans to participate as their favorite wrestlers and/or original characters. It premiered on January 26, 1999, and for the next three years, would incorporate the contributions of over 30+ different individual fan talents.
The plot to Dark Testament utilized a collective blend of current WWE angles that were going on at the time ---The Ministry of Darkness and Kane being forced into McMahon’s ‘Corporation’ were huge stories happening on TV. Also, we we’re bridging all of this around the UT CHAOS comic script, which had released this same year, where you had these demonic beings and their sinister intentions that were existing in secrecy; completely invisible to the naked eye. Plots-n-Tombstones had just finished the Windowknocker’s Altar of Illusion only a few months earlier and both plots just really seemed to rub very well off each other in that, for example, Kandle had been cursed. It was decided then that the two witches that Darin Hill had forged his evil pact with three centuries ago had used the bibles of Stygian (from the CHAOS script) in order to achieve this.
I’ve had various people and WWE/F UT/KANE fans request putting up the collections before on the internet, but I’m not so sure very many realize that the originals were all on paper. Putting up each new chapter (or installment) constitutes a great deal of staring at the original typed manuscripts, and then slowly converting all of the text to a Word document that I’ll later paste the to the web. This is, in fact, the FIRST time I’ve had it available as any sort of online, internet format before. If you haven't read it yet, then I certainly hope that you enjoy it~
